Reconciliation Reconciliation

Reconciliation for parishioners is held every Saturday at 1:00 PM

Third grade and elementary Step-Up children will celebrate the
Sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturday, February 23, at 1:00 pm.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation forms a large part of the curriculum for fourth grade children. This entire year concentrates on morality, the Ten Commandments, and the Beatitudes. We encourage reconciliation among family members as the best way to prepare to celebrate the sacrament.

The preparation for Reconciliation consists of learning how to make good choices, the consequences of making bad choices, sin, conscience, and how to celebrate sacramental Reconciliation.

We provide a communal penance service with individual reconciliation after the unit is completed in class.

We prepare children in the second grade for Reconciliation before First Eucharist as part of their formation. This preparation is very non-threatening and comfortable for the young child. Children do not begin preparation until late January.
