First Eucharist First Eucharist

The Sacrament of First Eucharist is usually celebrated in the second grade, although it may be celebrated later. The second grade year focuses on helping the child understand the meaning and importance of the sacrament and how to celebrate the sacrament. Two projects are done at home with the family; baking bread and making a banner.

Parents will be invited to attend one meeting where they will be given information for the upcoming year and our sacrament celebrations. We strongly urge parents to attend this meeting.

Baptismal certificates are required before celebration of the sacraments. Anyone who has not brought in a baptismal certificate in the past three years should bring it to the parish office as soon as possible. Do not bring a copy.
