Called and Chosen is a four night parish mission-retreat inviting you to reflect
on your identity as a disciple of Jesus and a member of the Catholic Church.
“Who Am I?”
After I say my name, how do I answer that question if it keeps being asked?

Who and what in my life claims my energy, time, and attention?

IN SUPPORT OF the “CALLED AND CHOSEN” Parish Mission, I PLEDGE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Make a list of those God would have me invite to the Mission.
2. Pray for them daily.
3. Send a note of invitation.
4. Follow up with at least one phone call.

Palms
We will be collecting palms from previous years to be burned for Ash Wednesday.
Baskets will be placed in the gathering space and the Romeo Plank handicap entrance.

Young Guitarist Needed
The St. Isidore Teen Music Ministers for Christ (TMMC) are in need of new guitarists. Acoustic
guitarists ages 13-18 with at least 6 months of private lessons are asked to join us at
rehearsals Monday evenings from 7-9pm in the church.
TMMC ministers at varied Mass times approximately once per month. Knowledge of basic chords
is helpful and assistance will be given. Service points available.
Come and share your gifts and grow in music and prayer with our community! B

The St. Isidore Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Road Rally & Scavenger Hunt
on Saturday, April 17, 2010 starting at 4:00PM in the parking lot across from St. Isidore
church near ACE Hardware. The cost is $8.00 per person. Snack food, soft drinks and coffee
will be provided at the final destination.
Participants for this event can consist of a family or a group of 4-6 adults. The road
rally will consist of puzzles and quizzes on movie and TV trivia and a scavenger hunt.
Space is limited to the first 25 teams to signup. There will be prizes for the top 3
finishers.
