St. Isidore Catholic Community Mission

"CALLED AND CHOSEN"

Sunday, February 21 through Wednesday, February 24
Fr. John Graden & Jeanne Hunt will facilitate

Called and Chosen is a four night parish mission-retreat inviting you to reflect on your identity as a disciple of Jesus and a member of the Catholic Church.

“Who Am I?”
After I say my name, how do I answer that question if it keeps being asked?

“To whom do I belong?”
Who and what in my life claims my energy, time, and attention?

Sunday, Feb 21 The Call to be Holy
My identity, baptized and confirmed as a member of the Body of Christ
Monday, Feb 22 The Call to Forgiveness
Can I forgive myself? Can I forgive that one person who has hurt me so badly? God forgives
Tuesday, Feb 23 Chosen to be Whole
Knowing our wounds and asking God to use us even if we are a bit broken.
Wednesday, Feb 24 Chosen to Serve
The Lord Jesus commissions us to love and serve one another, and asks us, “Will you go?”

IN SUPPORT OF the “CALLED AND CHOSEN” Parish Mission, I PLEDGE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Make a list of those God would have me invite to the Mission.
2. Pray for them daily.
3. Send a note of invitation.
4. Follow up with at least one phone call.

Palms

We will be collecting palms from previous years to be burned for Ash Wednesday.

Baskets will be placed in the gathering space and the Romeo Plank handicap entrance.

Young Guitarist Needed

The St. Isidore Teen Music Ministers for Christ (TMMC) are in need of new guitarists. Acoustic guitarists ages 13-18 with at least 6 months of private lessons are asked to join us at rehearsals Monday evenings from 7-9pm in the church.

TMMC ministers at varied Mass times approximately once per month. Knowledge of basic chords is helpful and assistance will be given. Service points available.

Come and share your gifts and grow in music and prayer with our community!
