Time & Talent Survey
The weekend of May 19-20 is our annual Time & Talent Survey, so we ask that you please take some time this week to consider how you can participate with the parish family in sharing your gifts of time and talent in support of our many ministries.

Take a look at the various committees and ministries below to see how you can share some your time and talents. We have particular needs this year for additional catechists, choir members, and usher/greeters. As always, we can use your special help with the Strawberry Festival (last weekend in June), MCREST (late August), and involvement on the various commissions and committees. Won’t you please consider giving of yourself to help us out?

Time and Talent Opportunities

If you can help out, please fill out the form below and return it during our Time and Talent weekend, or you can drop if off in the collection basket or the office.

The Feast Day of
St. Isidore the Farmer
is May 15th

Donate Flowers May 19/20

Decorate the Parish Grounds May 24

In honoring our patron, St. Isidore the Farmer, help us decorate our parish grounds with your donations of red Geraniums (zonal preferred), red and white Begonias with solid green leaves, and red and white Impatiens (6 pack bedding; no New Guinea). You may purchase these flowers at your favorite nursery.

Upon arrival for mass on May 19th and 20th, please bring these flowers to the altar and place them on the covered steps. We ask that you join other parish volunteers in planting these beautiful flowers on Thursday, May 24th. It is our hope to make the parish grounds look beautiful for the following weekend as we celebrate the ordination of our very own Deacon Sal Palazzolo to the Priesthood.

Please keep in mind, these plants must be brought on the weekend of May 19th and 20th and no sooner.

COME TO OUR GARDEN PARTY THURSDAY, MAY 24, AT 9:00 AM

Parish Pastoral Council Needs You

In this Easter Season, the beginning of new life, it is time once again to bring new life and new ideas into the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC). This year, we will be filling 5 vacant positions.

The PPC assists the pastoral work of the parish. They act as consulters, facilitators, and leaders of the parish. The PPC also sets the groundwork for the future of the parish by assisting and identifying the spiritual, pastoral, and physical needs of the parish.

The Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September to June. The term for a member is only 2 years. This means the commitment is for 20 meetings in 2 years.

If you may be interested, or know someone that you think would be a good leader for the parish and represent the majority of the parish, please fill out the following and return it to the parish office.
